Marc Cohen
We are pleased to welcome Marc Cohen to the regional team supporting our HKAL communities. Marc brings with him a deep understanding of the privilege and responsibility that comes with being welcomed into our residents’ homes each day.
Marc has nearly 20 years of experience as an Executive Director in senior living communities ranging in size from 62 to 281 apartments with for-profit, not for profit, nationwide, regional, and family-owned organizations. He also serves as a Boot Camp Trainer for the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA). Prior to entering the senior living field, Marc held a range of management positions in area hospitals and other health care provider organizations for more than two decades.
Marc received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Management and Planning from Boston University. He also earned a Ph.D. in Health Planning, Policy, and Administration from the Heller School at Brandeis University.
Outside of work, Marc enjoys road cycling and has participated in fundraising rides sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association, Best Buddies, and the American Diabetes Association, among others.
